The Mystical Blue Lagoon of Palanan

The blue lagoon mystery starts at a rough road travel via a motorcycle from the town proper to Brgy Villa Robles. From there, you’ll trek 15 minutes to get to this mysterious blue lagoon. After 15 minutes of trek under the sun, there we can see a lagoon, actually a spring which depth is not yet measured. Many divers actually atempted to measure its depth yet all failed. Its crystal clear water defines why this body of water is considered a gem of the Palanenio (coined to call the people of Palanan). Around and inside this lagoon is a rich vegetation reason for fishes to thrive like burasi internationally known as Taiwan Carp. It is also believed to have a connection karst to the sea because sea creatures are often seen enjoying the lagoon.
